Beach Days, Dog Days

 Hey there everyone! I'm long overdue for a post. It's Maggie checking in here. I just wanted to share a few pictures of my first time at a dog beach; it was at Lake Michigan and I had a blast! I didn't exactly dare to go too far out into the water because the waves were huge that night! At least that's the excuse I gave my pawrent... but I loved wading in the water and running up and down the beach. We also got to see a beautiful sunset over the lake!

I didn't really feel like putting my skates on initially, but I was glad Damaris convinced me to. We had fun!

Silly Girl

What a funny, funny dog I have! Or should I say clever? After mealtimes (and also during meal prep/baking etc), she parks her little white bum on the floor mat in front of the sink, innocently (and not so subtly) waiting for some food scraps to come her way. Isn't she the cutest?

House Updates

Hello friends, it's been a long while since I blogged! Autumn blew by as I settled into my nest, and we are well into Winter now. I'm happy to report that [Maggie and] I feel fully adjusted and cozy in my snug townhouse. I thought I'd share a few updates since my last post. I furnished my guest room in time for having family over at Christmas time and moved my craft area to the basement. Just last week Dad was kind enough to spend time installing new ceiling lights in my living space and giving my bedroom a fresh coat of paint! Goodbye modern lighting and purple walls!
