Things I'm so looking forward to on vacation up north:
1) having ample time to relax and just read
2) canoeing
3) hearing the loons call early in the morning while watching the mist rise off the lake
4) "going to town" with the kids to buy souveniers
5) making a trip to the town dump to see the bears
6) going for nature walks (never alone anymore though after my experience of meeting a wolf 2 years ago!)
7) swimming every day
8) being with my WONDERFUL, large family for 7 days
9) campfires at night (hopefully the fire ban will be lifted)
10) actually being able to see millions of stars!
