I've always loved "negro spirituals" - I remember as a young girl sitting in front of the stereo and listening to the song "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" over and over again. I wish there was a well-made CD available of these beautiful spirituals sung by slaves as they worked on the plantations down south. I was introduced to this song called "Soon Ah Will be Done" on Jack Westerink's blog and thought I would share it for today's musical Monday. Enjoy!
